Accelerate Online provides an individual the flexibility of completing secondary teacher certification preparation through completion of online instruction, a 40-hour field experience and a year-long paid internship in a public school in Texas.

Students interested in working with individuals with challenging behaviors or autism should consider pursing this certificate. SPED master’s students will complete the required coursework during their degree plan.

The Reading and Language Arts program allows students to further their education and to delve deeper into learning about reading research and trends, developmental reading, and cultivating children learning.

The Urban Education Program prepares educators for leadership positions through relevant courses, intensive research engagement and academic service opportunities.

The Educational Administration degree program is designed to help educators develop leadership skills that allow them to build diverse, inclusive learning communities of continuous improvement.

The Adult Education emphasis program develops adult education practitioners who are critically reflective, student-centered and committed to social justice

The recent growth in the sport industry has given rise to the need for trained professionals to manage and administer sport.

The EPSY online master’s program emphasizing School Counseling prepares qualified individuals to serve as school-based personal, academic, and career counselors as well as consultants for educators. The program of study is based on the premise that well-trained counselors play an integral part in the academic and personal development of students at all levels of the educational process.

We train researchers and academicians who understand and consider the interaction between the individual, their respective state, and their social, structural land political environment.

The Online Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Curriculum and Instruction was developed to meet the need for leaders in P–12 public and private education who are accomplished in providing direction in curriculum, instruction and instructional assessment.

The online M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction provides preparation for teaching and school leadership positions focusing on development, coordination and evaluation.

Preparation of professional leaders competent in identifying and solving complex curriculum problems in STEM education. Emphasis is on developing thoughtful and reflective practitioners.

The online master’s program in Bilingual Education is designed to provide teachers and educational personnel with essential skills to work effectively in bilingual and bicultural settings. Program graduates are prepared to assume instructional leadership positions focused on the development, delivery, coordination, and evaluation of bilingual and dual language programs spanning early childhood through secondary levels.

Masters students in Learning Sciences develop expertise in either Cognition, Creativity, Instruction, and Development or in Research, Measurement, and Statistics.

The online master’s degree program in Educational Technology prepares students to become instructional designers and technology leaders, using the potential of today’s technologies to design and develop effective, engaging instruction for a variety of audiences, including K-12, higher education and the workforce.

The online master’s degree program in Special Education focuses on academic and behavioral interventions for a diverse range of individuals including those with/at-risk of disabilities. The program of study incorporates a course sequence approved by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board©. Graduates have gone one to become Board Certified Behavior Analysts and/or assume a range of school- and community-based leadership roles including master teachers, curriculum designers, autism specialists, and positive behavior support coaches.

Students enrolled in the M.Ed. in Public School Administration will complete the certification requirements as part of their degree plan.

The Sport Management minor is for students who want an introduction to working with sport organizations.

The Virtual Instructor Certificate Program (VICP) is a six-week course delivered completely online. The course prepares participants to design, develop, and manage an online course.
