Educational Administration & Human Resource Development

The Department of Educational Administration and Human Resource Development (EAHR) develops educational leaders and improves practice through teaching, research and service in the areas of public school administration, human resource development, higher education administration, adult education and student affairs administration.

Educational Psychology

The Department of Educational Psychology (EPSY) is the largest producer of special and bilingual education teachers in the State of Texas. Students are prepared to become state and national leaders across a variety of disciplines, and high-achieving faculty members use their research to impact the lives of people in Texas and around the country, specifically in the area of child and adult psychology.

Health & Kinesiology

The Department of Health & Kinesiology (HLKN) is comprised of the Divisions of Health Education, Kinesiology, Sport Management and Physical Education Activity Program. The department has about 3,000 undergraduate and 280 graduate students and is ranked first at Texas A&M University in class count, first in student enrollment and first in department salaries per student. Courses generate over 150,000 weighted student credit hours each year, which ranks third at the University. HLKN is also in the top 40 in one-year and five-year external funding at the university.

Teaching, Learning & Culture

The Department of Teaching, Learning and Culture (TLAC) encompasses students, faculty and staff whose efforts and interests center on the many different aspects of academics, teaching and school education. TLAC’s mission is to prepare educators and researchers to build inclusive democratic communities in schools and society through critical and reflective research, teaching and service.
