Arno ’64 is a retired partner with Fulbright & Jaworski L.L.P. Arno received his Bachelor of Arts in Education from Texas A&M in 1964 and an L.L.B. from The University of Texas School of Law in 1967. He served as president of the Texas Aggie Bar Association from 1978-1979 and was a director from 2000-2001. Volunteering his time, Arno served on the 12th Man Foundation’s Executive Committee from 1983-1989, as president in 1988 and as a member of the Development Council/Council of Athletic Ambassadors from 1979 to date. In addition, he served on the Board of Directors of the Association of Former Students from 2004-2008. Currently, he serves on the Bush School Development Council and is a member of the Chancellor’s Century Council. In 2004, he was inducted into the Texas A&M Letterman’s Association Athletic Hall of Honor and recognized as an Outstanding Alumnus of the College of Education and Human Development. Arno and his wife, Barbara, have two children, Kirsten Krebs Calder ’89 and Bret Dark ’89.
