Throughout the school’s history, it has been a permanent vision, mission and goal to serve children, youth and families with excellence and concern for social justice. The school trains leaders in education and human development and provides continued professional development opportunities. SEHD and its four departments are committed to developing new opportunities for engagement and strengthening existing initiatives, such as the Center for Disability and Development, the Transdisciplinary Center for Health Equity Research, the Center for Urban School Partnerships and the Texas Center for the Advancement of Literacy and Learning.
