School of Education and Human Development among Top 15% in Graduate School Rankings

The Texas A&M School of Education and Human Development (SEHD) is now among the top 15% of Best Graduate Schools in Education, according to the 2023-24 rankings by U.S. News and World Report. The school rose to number 31 among all U.S. education schools ranked.

SEHD also rose among graduate educational psychology programs in the annual rankings, going from number 22 to 16. U.S. News and World Report released its 2023-24 rankings on April 25, ranking graduate education schools based on expert opinions about program excellence and statistical indicators measuring the quality of a school’s faculty, research and students.

“Every year, our school strives for excellence in preparing our students for the challenges of tomorrow, today,” said Dr. Michael A. de Miranda, Dean of SEHD. “These rankings show our commitment to fostering a dynamic learning environment that empowers individuals to become leaders in education, research, business, industry and community engagement.”

In January, the School of Education and Human Development was ranked number 10 overall on U.S. News and World Report’s list of 2023 Best Online Master’s in Education Programs – giving the school its fourth consecutive top-10 ranking in that category.
