Ann ’16 and Gary ’65 Mills grew up in south Texas. Ann earned a BBA in accounting from the University of Houston and spent 28 years in the finance department of Dow Chemical. Gary received his bachelor of science in industrial technology from Texas A&M and also had a long career with Dow. He has spent the past 26 years with Formosa Plastics. The Mills’ story also includes five years living and working in Hong Kong.

Today, the Mills are Aggie season ticket holders in football and baseball. They have four grandchildren who have attended, or are currently attending, Texas A&M. Ann went back to school and received her master’s in health education from Texas A&M in 2016. She is passionate about health equity and believes that health education can increase access to opportunities that enable individuals to lead healthy lives.
