Frisco, Texas
Sheryl ’87 and Robert ’84 Holton are active members of St. Philip’s Church in Frisco. After many years teaching in a variety of settings, Sheryl helped develop St. Philip’s Academy, a K-5 school. The family was introduced to international missions and Sheryl created a Teacher-to-Teacher Training program for the Anglican Diocese in Belize. Today, Sheryl is an instructor at Collin College and is working on a doctorate in Global Leadership with Lamar University. She serves as the Adult Discipleship Minister for St. Philip’s Church. Robert is the Dallas office director of Heights Venture Architects. He is passionate about developing the next generation of architects.
Sheryl and Robert see Texas A&M as a leader in providing students with study abroad experiences that can equip them to be educators in a global context. They are grateful to have their children (Alex and wife Maya, Sam 2015 and wife Kait 2014, and Hannah 2026) nearby and make it a priority to travel together as often as possible.
