Claire ’77 and her husband, Bill ’76 own the Town & Country Veterinary Hospital in Austin. Claire graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in 1977 (Cum Laude) and received her Master’s of Education in Curriculum & Instruction at the University of Texas, Austin in 1981. Bill graduated in 1976 with his Bachelor of Science degree and then went on to graduate from the College of Veterinary Medicine in 1977. Claire and Bill have two children, Jill ’07 received her Master’s from De Paul University in ’09, and Wes ’09. As an Aggie family, they enjoy attending Aggie games and functions. They also enjoy ranching and are members of the Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association and the Independent Cattlemen’s Association. They are members of the United Methodist Church, Capital City A&M Club, Texas Lyme Association, and the George Bush Presidential Library Foundation. The Dailey, Squire and Kirksey families honored Claire at the 2010 Dean’s Roundtable and she was awarded Teacher of the Year at Creedmoor Elementary, Del Valle ISD.
