Jim graduated from Texas A&M, Class of 1979, with a degree in Business Management. Throughout his career he has worked in the insurance industry and he is a currently senior vice president with Bowen, Miclette & Britt, Inc. Jim’s volunteer activities include leadership positions with the Women’s Home Advisory Board, Avance, Inc., American Leadership Forum, St. Martin’s Church and Del Monte Civic Association. Jim and his wife, Jennifer live in Houston. They have three children – Sian, who is a junior at Texas Maritime Academy at Texas A&M Galveston, Michael, who is a senior in high school and Sarah, who is a high school freshman.
