Jon received his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Northwest Missouri State College in 1963, his Master’s degree in Physical Science from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1968, and his Ed.D. in Secondary Education from the University of Missouri-Columbia in1972. Jon served as Professor and Executive Director of eEducation in the Department of Teaching, Learning and Culture; and received national recognition for a number of collaborative science and technology outreach programs at Texas A&M University for over 35 years. Jon also served as Associate and Executive Associate Dean for Research for the School of Education and Human Development from 1990 to 2001. Recently retired, Jon is an emeriti professor.
