Kathy ’82 is an associate project director in Clinical Operations at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. She received her Ph.D. in Educational Administration from Texas A&M in 1988. Kathy has been involved in MD Anderson’s performance improvement initiatives for more than 15 years. Kathy is a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality, a certified ASQ Manager of Quality/ Organizational Excellence, and a MD Anderson Cancer Center Green Belt. Kathy was instrumental in establishing the hospital’s Cancer Survivorship Program, and the driving force in establishing an internship program with the Cancer Center that has benefited a number of Aggies from the college’s human resource development program.
