Lynn grew up in Chicago and attended high school at North Park Academy. She earned a B.S. and an M.S. from Southern Illinois University and a Ph.D. in Educational Curriculum and Instruction from Texas A&M. She has held a variety of positions in teaching and in educational administration. Retired since 2001, Lynn enjoys sewing, cooking, playing the ukulele, and riding her bike. Retirement has also allowed her to volunteer with the HOSTS Program, Habitat for Humanity, Meals on Wheels, MSC OPAS and other organizations.
