Malcolm Stewart received his bachelor’s in Building Construction from Texas A&M and was a member of the Corps of Cadets, a Ross Volunteer, and was a Distinguished Military Graduate. He received a regular Army commission as a Combat Engineer and served three years before transitioning into the private sector. Stewart is Chief Operating Officer of Camden Property Trust, a multibillion dollar public real estate organization based in Houston, Texas. He supports many activities at A&M including CEHD study abroad scholarships, the Coaching Academy, Aggie STEM Camps, and the Dean’s Excellence Fund. He serves on the Executive Committee of the Masters of Real Estate Program in the Mays School of Business. An Inductee to the Corps Hall of Honor, he also sponsors multiple scholarship programs including the Parsons Mounted Cavalry, Ross Volunteer Association, and the Corps Keeper of the Spirit Documentary. He also supports numerous civic and community programs in Houston and Bryan/College Station and was named Humanitarian of the Year by the Gulf Coast Sickle Cell Association.
