Colleyville, Texas

Sonja earned her bachelor’s degree in education from Baylor University, and taught third grade for the Hurst-Euless- Bedford (HEB) ISD until her retirement. Sonja is active in the HEB retired school employee’s organization, the Colleyville Garden Club, Trailwood Women’s Club and she is an honorary life member of the Texas PTA. Additionally, she is past-chair of the City of Euless Library Board and is a member of the Economic Development Corporation’s Board of Directors. Sonja enjoys reading, gardening, and Aggie football/basketball. Sonja and her husband, Neal, have two children, Marti Morgan and Paige Petro.
