Sue is an associate professor at the University of Houston-Downtown in the Department of Urban Education. She received her master’s and doctorate from Texas A&M. She teaches educational technology courses to undergraduate and graduate students. Patrick is an attorney in Houston, Texas. Patrick earned his B.B.A. in Accounting from Texas A&M in 1971 followed by his J.D., Doctor of Jurisprudence from South Texas College of Law in 1988. They enjoy traveling, working with students, and Aggie sports. The Mahoney household is also actively involved with the Houston Sheltie Sanctuary, a rescue group for shelties. Their son, Dan ’92 is married with two daughters and lives in Salem, Oregon.
