STEM education is the process of teaching that integrates science, technology, engineering and mathematics disciplines to promote real-world experience, teamwork and the authentic application of technology. STEM promotes discovery, problem-based learning and project-based learning.
At its core, STEM education is essential to our nation’s economic prosperity and is closely linked to student success in these disciplines and our ability to expand the knowledge capacity and diversity of the STEM workforce pipeline.

We are preparing future innovators and well-informed consumers, generating new knowledge in science to address important health issues, preparing teachers to integrate innovative technology and addressing learning and language barriers to promote achievement for all.
