CEHD grad programs rank among the best in the country
Graduate programs in the College of Education and Human Development are once again ranked among the best in the nation. Six are considered in the top tier of graduate education according to the 2022 U.S. News Best Graduate School Rankings.
In the area of educational psychology, the college is ranked number 14. The emphasis in special education graduate program is ranked 16, up two spots from last year.
In the Department of Teaching, Learning and Culture, the curriculum and instruction program is ranked 21. The graduate certificate program in secondary education is ranked for the first time at 22.
In the Department of Educational Administration and Human Resource Development, the educational administration graduate programs came in at number 15, up eight spots from last year. For the first time, the higher education administration program is ranked at 22.
These specialty rankings are based on nominations from education school deans from colleges and universities across the country.
Overall, the college held steady at the 39th spot.
The college’s ranking is based on several measures, including student selectivity, faculty resources and research activity.
