KNSM Student Manages Goals On and Off the Pitch
Hart Ray ‘24, a recent graduate of our Sport Management program, is grateful for her experience in and out of the classroom, including her time as a student manager for the Fightin’ Texas Aggie Women’s Soccer Team.
Ray joined the team in 2022 and gained hands-on experience in her field while watching the Aggies make two NCAA tournament appearances. She then interned with the University of Alabama soccer team as part of completing her degree program. Outside of the pitch, Ray earned her Professional Event Management certificate, served as president of Texas A&M University’s Sport Management Society and worked in the research finance department and as a recreation assistant for the City of College Station.
Ray looks to leverage all her experiences into a career in sports, which she has aspired to work in since high school. “I want to continue to work in collegiate soccer and gain more experience with video coordinating or work towards a director of operations position,” she said.
