College of Education and Human Development Remains a Premier National Online Graduate Program
The College of Education and Human Development (CEHD) is number 10 overall on U.S. News and World Report’s list of 2023 Best Online Master’s in Education Programs. The rankings, released on January 24, mark the fourth consecutive year CEHD has made the top 10.
Our School remains the Best Online Master’s in Education program for veterans in Texas and number 2 in the country. CEHD also ranked high in three education specialties offered online at the master’s level:
- #8 in Educational Administration and Supervision
- #10 in Educational/Instructional Media Design
- #12 in Curriculum and Instruction
“These new rankings serve as an index of our School’s commitment to developing the great teacher and administrators of tomorrow,” said Dr. Michael A. de Miranda, Dean of CEHD. “I am also proud of our dedication to serving our nation’s veterans who now seek to be difference makers in the classroom.”
The rankings can help guide prospective students interested in pursuing a degree or coursework with one of these focuses.
According to U.S. News and World Report, the annual specialty rankings are based entirely on responses to a peer assessment survey sent to deans of education schools with online graduate programs and top distance-learning officials at those institutions.
